Beauty ‘til repulse
Melancholy Man and Mermaid, 1910 by Edvard Munch
Brown shimmer, set sail bon voyage,
Pattern rich figure, failure to camouflage
Cocoa butter glimmer, beauty I starve,
Pengness unfold I shiver, time needn’t sabotage.
Crimson glow, tongue-tied Begonia,
New land bestowed greatest euphoria,
Argan glistened afro, rich sweet dystopia,
Melanin flow golden hour, sauceless hysteria.
Pearly whites, lips grow fonder
Pink light yet greeteth sonder,
Dirty nights, her grandeur I wonder,
Drip right, glisten whilst I wander.
Natural oils shrivel now deprived,
The dove toils though nosedives,
Midday sun foils and now derives
Us tethered embroiled, beggeth survive.
Smile gritty reptilian once admired,
Hindenburg-like pavilion, presence rewired,
Plain-faced civilian, rose-tinted hourglass expired,
Slick-back Sicilian we move, though undesired.
